This is the hood ornament from a Packard 12. The original is 40"x25".
I still didn't have the guts to do a backround in my paintings. I always thought I would mess up a nice car painting and didn't want a backround to distract from the car. My office was next door to Hill and Vaughn in the 1990's and they would often have a car out for me to take some pictures of.
